ABSTRACT
Poland is one of the countries rich in various minerals. There are significant deposits of hard coal and brown coal, copper ore (production of copper, silver and smaller amounts of gold, lead, nickel and selenium), zinc and lead ore (production of zinc and lead), rock salt, native sulphur, gypsum, kaolin, rock minerals, remedial and geothermal waters, as well as some deposits of natural gas and small volume of oil.
