ABSTRACT
For the response analysis, different excitation forces need to be included. The most common excitation is the mass unbalance. For propellers and helicopter rotors the aerodynamic excitation is important. For wind turbines the gravity excitation must be included. This is also the case for horizontally mounted turbines and generators.
