ABSTRACT
This chapter starts with a detailed description of a very generic model of a propeller blade. This is followed by the discussion of the airflow environment in which these machines are operating. Both quasi-steady and unsteady airflow are investigated. The final section discusses a four-bladed propeller application in an aircraft.
