ABSTRACT
This book is on the modeling and analysis of remanufacturing systems. In each chapter of the book, models developed for a speci€c issue in remanufacturing are presented. The majority of these models make use of various industrial engineering and/or operations research techniques. In this chapter we provide some basic information on these techniques.
