ABSTRACT
From a management perspective, the purpose of modeling is to analyze various strategies that a¤ect P. An interest in modeling may be the result of anticipated changes in Wt and a desire to maintain performance level P. Another may be that even though no changes in Wt are anticipated, the objective is to a¤ect an improvement in P. In either context, the interest is in a system, St, that achieves the desired level of performance P.
