ABSTRACT

Creating plausible imputations is the most challenging activity in multiple imputation. Though the steps needed to derive the final statistical inferences are relatively straightforward, they are not entirely without problems. This chapter describes techniques to pool non-normal quantities. In addition, the chapter reviews methods to deal with variable selection and model optimism on multiply imputed data.
