ABSTRACT

The Nanotechnology Commercialization Group (NCG) is a single storehouse for university nanotechnology intellectual property and grants a valuable marketing advantage. The NCG, together with support from BFTP/SEP, provides five services for all university members of the NTI: evaluating commercial potential, developing commercialization strategies, marketing, negotiating licenses, and facilitating the formation of start-up companies. The Foresight Institute was founded in 1986 as the first organization to educate society about the benefits, dangers, and risks of nanotechnology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), biotech, and similar life-changing technologies. Foresight provides balanced information to help society understand nanotechnology through its publications, public policy activities, and conferences. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is an international organization. The OECD recently released a Nano Risk Framework for risk managers. The Center for Responsible Nanotechnology (CRN) is a nonprofit organization, founded in 2002. CRN was formed to advance the safe use of nanotechnology.
