ABSTRACT
These two areas are grouped together, although they might be thought of as different markets. Currently, most of the volume microelectronics applications are in Asia. The markets that remain in the United States are for the most part related to defense and security, quick turn and prototyping, or small volume that is not of interest to larger corporations.
