ABSTRACT

Micromachining, as the name implies, involves making very small features. Parts are generally made according to a drawing žle. The normally accepted žle format is DXF. AutoCAD DXF (drawing exchange format) is a CAD data žle format developed for enabling data interoperability between different CAD programs. Since some CAD programs do not support this žle type, especially for three-dimensional processing, many applications use the DWG or some other format such as HPGL, Excellon II drill žle, or Gerber.
