The basic tenets of this study are that there is a plurality of simulation models, methodologies, and values in simulation practice; that the kind and reasonableness of this plurality can be understood philosophically; and that this plurality should be cherished. This plurality is important for scientic reasons and, where simulation is used in policymaking, for sociopolitical reasons. In conclusion, I take stock of the results obtained in the various chapters and determine what answers can be given to the ve research questions posed in Chapter 1.
