ABSTRACT
MATLAB (short for MATrix LABoratory) is a programming language, together with a programming environment, designed to facilitate mathematical calculations and rapid prototyping of mathematical programs. It was created in the late 1970s by CleveMoler, and it has become very popular in themathematical, scientific, and engineering communities.
