Our theme here has been: How can the industry change itself to run leaner, faster, better, cheaper, for everyone? Our theme has been: Stop looking to Washington, to your state capital, to politicians to ©x the industry. Politicians are unlikely to ©x the industry, because they don’t understand the industry, because they are in the thrall of various segments of the industry ©ghting for ©nancial supremacy and ease, and because a problem is a political asset, while a solution is not.
