ABSTRACT

When In field of the dark soliton D or bright soliton B is input into In and A ports, the fields are split into two parts when passing through the first 3 dB (50:50) coupler as shown in Figure 9.2. The field E12 at the upper arm of MZI is the controlled phase shifted signal after passing through E11. Finally, the fields are combined again at the second 3 dB coupler. The

output results at the Th port are the required quantum CNOT gate output signals as shown in Figure 9.3(a)–(d). From Figure 9.2(a)–(d), we found that the outputs of quantum Hadamard gate are DD DDÆ , DB DBÆ , BD BDÆ and BB BBÆ , respectively.
