ABSTRACT
To achieve reproducible performance it is necessary to deliver the same amount of drug as particles in the respirable range with each dose. Particles whose diameters are in the range of 2-5 |um are considered to be respirable. A number of factors can affect the amount of drug delivered as respirable particles.
