I decided to play devil’s advocate here. “May I ask why, Mary? Why would any student be interested in manufacturing today when you could work in a nice office, with well-dressed, stressed-for-success auditors, just waiting for that CFO position in insurance or banking to open up and provide you with a huge posh corner office in Manhattan? I am sure that office looks very different from my office here.”
