ABSTRACT
We had covered core values thoroughly at our offsite meeting, and we now had a small administrative team, which we called the Steering Team, dedicated to making this Lean endeavor successful. Before the town hall meeting tomorrow morning in which Jim would inform all associates that, starting now, we are changing the way we do business, I wanted to talk with Jim one-on-one. I wanted him to tell me, face to face, that he was committed to this Lean endeavor for the long haul.
