ABSTRACT
The town hall meeting the next morning to announce the change in the way in which we will do business went very well. The response by our associates to what Jim had to say was most positive. Jim had everyone’s attention as this was not the usual end-of-year town hall meeting where masses of people were let go. There was no lack of leadership or passion on Jim’s part. One could hear the emotion in his voice. Our people did ask questions, which I thought was a very good sign that the fear was beginning to dissipate, and Jim responded well to those questions.
