ABSTRACT
Online social networks are establishing novel forms of interaction among users; millions of people around the world, young and old, knowingly and willingly use Facebook, Friendster, MySpace, Match.com, LinkedIn, and hundreds of other sites to communicate with friends, dates, and jobs. In doing so, they wittingly reveal personal information to strangers as well as friends. Before moving down, let us study the real statistics of Facebook that will show the impact of social networking on our daily lives as shown in Table 16.1.
