ABSTRACT
Our task is to reestablish reliability quantitative test speci‚cations after conducting reliability marginal tests. As we said before, reliability test speci‚cations should be designed concretely in order to establish quantitative de‚nitions of the lifetime and annual failure rate within lifetime. Quantitative indices of item reliability should meet the targets established with reference to the quality of competitive items that customers recognize in the market. Parametric accelerated life testing (ALT) is the methodology for verifying whether the item’s reliability meets those targets.
