ABSTRACT
As discussed in Chapter 11, both quality and time constraints are to be considered in synthesizing a batch material network (BMN). To overcome time constraint, mass storage system is commonly employed to recover material across different time intervals. Automated targeting model (ATM) developed for resource conservation networks (RCNs) for continuous processes in the previous chapters are extended for BMNs in this chapter.
