ABSTRACT

Starting with the pioneering works by H. Gleiter and his colleagues [1, 2], the interest in nanomaterials has increased rapidly because of their unique properties [3]. The created nanomaterials, namely, nanoparticles are on the edge of the nanotechnology wave. The current and potential applications of nanoparticles are broadening and covering a wide segment of the market. The analysis has shown that the market of nanomaterials reached $900 million in the United States in 2005 and is going to reach $11 billion by 2010 [4].
