ABSTRACT
As suggested in the previous chapters, the remediation of contaminated media is the culmination of an often laborious and time-consuming process of identifying and evaluating areas of concern; developing and re„ning the conceptual site model; obtaining hydrogeological, geochemical, physical, and biological data; and, not to be overlooked, documenting the observations and „ndings of the investigations.
