ABSTRACT
Food contact materials are all materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. Many types of materials, such as polymers, regenerated cellulose, paper and board, glass and ceramics, elastomers (natural and synthetic rubbers), metals, wood, textile, waxes, etc., can be used for food packaging.
