ABSTRACT

Postpolymerization, or the non-stationary dark process of the photopolymerization, is carried out after the completion of ultraviolet (UV) irradiation and gives important information about the mechanism of the process, particularly the elementary break reactions. The kinetic curve of the post-polymerization process has two regions: one quick and short and the other slow and long. These two regions indicate that two active radicals with different life times are involved in the process of postpolymerization.
