ABSTRACT
The target process of methallyl chloride production by isobutylene chlorination is accompanied by side reactions, which synthesize organochlorine compounds in amounts up to 240 kg per ton of methallyl chloride. At the final stage they represent tertiary butyl chloride and a mixture of dihalogenderivatives, not currently used in industry and then incinerated.
