ABSTRACT
For centuries, polyhedra have fascinated mathematicians, scientists, and artisans alike. They are one of the most intensely studied aspects of geometry. Their 3D faces appear in seemingly infinite arrangements of faceted and star shapes. Their geometry appears in everything from microscopic sea creatures to crystals, from virus cells to soccer balls. Their symmetries apply to mathematics, architecture, art, chemistry, biology, product design, and physics.
