ABSTRACT
Criminal investigators are becoming computer literate as the computer becomes an essential investigative tool. Criminal records and pertinent information about suspects and informants will be more eciently and quickly obtained. With computerized communications systems, an investigator in a motor vehicle has rapid access to records anywhere in the United States. Information provided by computers will assist criminal investigators in the decision-making process.
