ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: This paper provides an analysis of university ICT graduates skills when entering the ICT labor market in the Czech Republic. This analysis is focused on universities effectiveness in the ICT education area and compares study programs with requirements of businesses. The analysis of the requirements on ICT professionals is presented in the second part of this contribution. Results show that majority of graduate bachelors do not have sufficient knowledge profile to enter ICT business without expensive additional training. The same in smaller extent applies to graduates at master level.
