ABSTRACT
This ¢nal chapter is intended to be essentially self-standing so that those having preliminary interest can read the ¢rst and last chapters to obtain a basic appreciation of the intention and approach that have been the main thrust throughout the book. However, the other chapters should be read in numerical order thereafter because each builds upon those preceding. Much of this chapter appeared in the electronic proceedings for the 2011 Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) under submission number 300319 for a presentation by the same title as this book (Myers and Patil 2011).
