ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a summary of heat transfer fundamentals, heat exchanger design theory, and introduces the designer to the broad possibilities for the use of enhancement technology. Heat transfer enhancement concepts may be considered for application to virtually any type of heat exchanger or heat exchange device.
