ABSTRACT

Part of your job as a leader is to ensure that your team is functioning well and that it contributes to the overall well-being of the company. In my 25 years of experience in this area, I have found that the best way to do that is to evaluate each individual on the team, determine his or her strengths or weaknesses, and then — through coaching — help that team member use those strengths and eliminate (or at least minimize) the weaknesses.
