Many managers I work with get so busy meeting deadlines, going to meetings, or just getting the work done, they feel that they don’t have much time left to coach. Others are physically separated from the people who report to them, whether they are on a different floor of the same office building or in a different part of the world. In our fast-paced world, if you are truly committed to the development of your people, you must go out of your way to make yourself accessible to them.
