ABSTRACT
Jan Allbeck is a Systems Programmer in the Center for Human Modeling and Simulation at the University of Pennsylvania. Her responsibilities include managing technical aspects of research projects, supervising students, and designing, coding, and debugging large software systems. She is also a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer and Information Science at Penn. She is active in the area of autonomous agents and computer anima tion with more than a dozen publications. Allbeck received a BA degree in Mathematics and a BS degree in Computer Science from Bloomsburg Uni versity in 1995. She received an MSE in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997.
