ABSTRACT
Introduction Cyberspace is a unique institution that supports all aspects and sectors of a society, and consequently, the security of that space is of absolute importance to all governments for their respective societies. Countries, one after another, are forming government agencies concerned with the security of that space. Similarly, in the United States the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), among numerous other responsibilities and in cooperation with other government agencies, has been assigned the task of cybersecurity.
