ABSTRACT

Over the years, a large number of publications in the elds of safety, human factors, and reliability have appeared in the form of journal articles, conference proceedings articles, books, and technical reports [1-4]. Many of these publications report the development of various types of methods and approaches to perform safety, human factors, and reliability analyses. Some of these methods and approaches can be used to perform safety and human error analysis in engineering systems. The others are more conned to a specic eld (i.e., safety, human factors, or reliability).
