ABSTRACT
A model for predicting chloride ingress into concrete at all times aims at predicting the chloride profile C(x, t) after a certain exposure time t or at least the chloride content C at the depth of the reinforcement. The output is usually intended to be compared with a ‘chloride threshold level’, which is relevant for reinforcement corrosion (Figure 4.1).
