ABSTRACT

No product entity, and in turn the enterprise, can be sustainable if the enterprise does not possess the following abilities:

◾ Availability of the required parts, facilities, tools, and manpower ◾ Dependability of the products ◾ Capability of the enterprise to perform the mission ◾ AŸordability and improving the life cycle cost (LCC) of the product ◾ Marketability to stakeholders and motivation of decision makers

us, to be sustainable, an enterprise must possess all of these abilities. It means that the enterprise must aim to maintain the readiness and operational capability of its systems or services through the adoption of a strategy that meets established performance requirements in the most eŸective, e¨cient manner over the entity’s life cycle.
