ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we will consider the energy industry and the associated energy applications used in the industry. Although we are familiar with the term “industry” as a manufacturing or technically productive enterprise often named after its primary product, for example, the chemical or steel industry, it is not easy to give an exact definition of “energy industry.”
