ABSTRACT
Our detailed study of conduction is organized into two chapters. This first chapter includes many basic topics one would expect, such as Fourier’s law of heat conduction, the differential equations for heat conduction, and properties of materials. It then concludes with thermal interface resistance. The next chapter also concerns conduction, but concentrates on thermal spreading resistance.
