An Ergonomics Evaluation of the Spare Wheel Changing Process

During the spare wheel changing process, the user must lift a wheel of considerable weight (9 to 28kg) in a stooped posture, both factors which may contribute to back injury (Health and Safety Executive, 1992; Kroemer and Grandjean, 1997).
