W h e n reading the chapters f rom this monograph , one can only be impressed by the fact that the field o f endothelium-derived hyperpolar iz ing factor ( E D H F ) has pro gressed considerably i n the last few years. Bu t as always in science, the acquis i t ion o f knowledge unavoidably opens new questions, or part ial ly answers the existing ones.
