ABSTRACT
This chapter aims to help data management groups get the most out of testing by setting up appropriate test procedures or scripts and carrying them out in such a way as to really provide documented evidence of how the system works. While the approaches discussed here apply most closely to larger system validation efforts, they also apply to testing of other software applications, including study database testing in the form of user acceptance testing.
