ABSTRACT
For the past four years, Visteon’s development group in Chelmsford, UK, has been part of a European Union project, named EU-FP7, to understand and apply Lean Product Development. rough that program, Visteon has leveraged the expertise of the research teams at Craneld University’s Lean Product and Process Development Group. e group’s director, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ashaab, gave me a warm and enthusiastic introduction to Paul Ewers, the Continuous Improvement Manager for the Global Electronics Product Group.
