ABSTRACT
When a premixed £ame propagates in a turbulent £ow, the turbulence affects combustion and the combustion, in turn, affects the turbulence. Chapters 4 and 5 were restricted to the phenomenology and physical mechanisms of the former effects, while the focus of this chapter is on the phenomena and physical mechanisms associated with the in£uence of combustion on turbulence and turbulent transport.
