ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we will illustrate the causes of corrosion of steel bar reinforcement and define the structure probability of failure depending on the condition of a structure. The concrete structure reliability depends on its design methodology, so this chapter also will describe the better ways to design a structure to increase its lifetime when exposed to corrosion.
