Adam and Eve did not have to worry too much about food. According to the Bible (Genesis 2:9), the Garden of Eden freely contained “every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food.” Then, because Eve tasted the apple, the ground was cursed so that it would yield food only with hard labor.
