ABSTRACT
This chapter is meant to encourage readers who fear equations and graphs. Those who skip this chapter may be reminded of it later and can return to this chapter for reference. In engineering it is essential to have mathematical expressions that relate important variables and parameters in order to describe a phenomenon. And in the experimental kitchen, it is important to be able to control, measure, and express the conditions of a process as well as keep a good record of the results through images.
