ABSTRACT

Hers is considered to be a “cold case” because it remains unsolved and unclosed since her tragic death occurred about four decades ago. Her family lived with the horror of her death and with the knowledge that her murderer remained free. is perversion of justice must never become o¨cially tolerated. Too o‚en, it has been accepted as one of the dif-cult realities of policing. But things eventually change, and hopefully for the better-better means catching the actual killer, not just putting someone in jail and calling it good enough. at e°ort takes time.
