Once the bodies were discovered, detectives arrived and drained the bayou to search for evidence (Figures 14.2 and 14.3). ey recovered a muddy ngerprint on the bank, near the bodies, along with the standard miscellaneous items of as-yet-indeterminate probative value. It was obvious to wide-eyed detectives that the little bodies had stories to tell, and those stories developed loud and clear, amplied by the autopsies. Enter their main suspect, Lucifer, T. D., alias Mr. E, Satan, Master Brimstone, the master thug wanted for every crime against humanity since God created the Garden of Eden.
