ABSTRACT

Jingdezhen is a Chinese city located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province; N  28°44′~29°56′, E 116°57′~117°42′. The city has a 2000-year history of ceramic production and is famous internationally as the “capital of porcelain.” Although the ceramic industry was once the primary inšuence on the economy of Jingdezhen, its prominence has waned in recent times, being replaced by modern industries such as automobile manufacturing, aircraft manufacturing, electronics, chemicals, machinery manufacturing, Limited Company for photovoltaic production (LTD PV), and ecological food industry, which now account for nearly 90% of the total economic activity.
